Sangria Leon
Purebred Andalusian mare 16.2 hands tall born June 22nd 2001 Confirmed in foal to Raven due April 15th, 2011.
Sangria Leon delivered Athena by our Friesian stallion RAVEN on April 12th, 2005, Orchata by our Friesian stallion RAVEN on May 24th, 2006 and Pacheron by our Friesian stallion RAVEN on June 5th, 2007. Athena was born bay, both Orchata and Pacheron were born black and stayed black. We did not rebreed her in 2007 we wanted to give her some time off for training.
She is a delightful mare always giving her all. We say she should have been born blond because before we tack her up we MUST let her in the arena to roll. Her foals by RAVEN are SPECTACULAR. We bred her in 2008 to our Friesian stallion RAVEN and she delivered a black colt on May 22nd, 2009. This colt was born with curly feathers, he is black, well filled out, tall and very, very strong for a newborn. He is registered with Friesian Heritage Horse & Sport International but he also qualifies for the Warlander Society along with FSHR.
