The cost of insurance was too great when we included the horses. We can no longer offer Friesian vacations. The apartment can still be reserved for people coming in from a distance that need a place to stay overnight.
The horses can be observed the trails walked and the ponds fished.
Ending each fun filled busy day in a comfortable cozy 900 square foot deluxe apartment with a wood burning stove, plenty of wood, large screen TV, free internet, full size washer and dryer, a full sized fridge, microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, very comfortable beds, all linens, beach towels included, and hot showers.
Fishing in our stocked lake managed by Herman Pond Management is great fun for the kids. Cooling off on a hot summer day by swimming in the sparkling waters of the ponds at the Hanna City farm or the Middle Grove lakes is included with this vacation. We have a photographer on staff to help preserve the wonderful memories of this chance of a lifetime vacation.
The city of Peoria is just a short 12 miles and offers many opportunities for shopping and dining. There are also a few small local restaurants in Hanna City, just 4 miles away. The first 2 weekends in October is the famous Spoon River Drive. We are just 4 miles from Route 116 and the start of miles of shopping.
